Under current data protection legislation, if you receive a marketing email from us, we believe we can demonstrate having a legitimate interest in using your information for marketing purposes. This is based on the fact you will have, within the last three years, have indicated some interest in our services through either opening a marketing email, subscribing to our updates, enquiring about our services, giving specific consent to be added to our mailing database, or engaging in a commercial transaction with us.

We may also send you marketing emails if you have previously been on contact lists supplied by Selectabase Ltd and we believe, from your job title, organisation name and/or sector, may be interested in our services.

We rent third party contact lists from Selectabase Ltd, a supplier of email lists of contacts within the NHS, local authorities and charities. Through the third-party provider, ‘Mailchimp’ (a registered trademark of The Rocket Science Group, LLC), all third party and in-house lists are screened. In addition, we keep a ‘do not contact’ list of anyone who objects or opts out of our own mailings.

We do not knowingly contact sole traders or any other individual who does not have a business email address, unless they have specifically consented to be added to our mailing lists or are an existing customer or client.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt-out at a later date. Additionally, you have the right at any time to stop Habitus from contacting you for marketing purposes.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes at any time, you may click an ‘unsubscribe’ link at the end of each marketing communication.
