Peer Support

Empowering people with their own personal mental health experiences by giving them the tools to support others

Mental Health Leaders

85% of people do not seek initial help from their manager, HR representative or doctor for health and wellbeing needs. Instead, they talk to their friends, family and colleagues first.

By building on what already works, Habitus helps your business to identify these natural pathways of support that already exist within your company. To strengthen these connections, we help you to identify your ‘natural helpers’, and provide mentorship and mental health training to enhance this approach.

We provide support, of usually 8 hours of coaching, that produces effective mental health leaders, plus an assessment of the current health challenges affecting your workplace.

Peer Supporter Training

Peer support is where people, from across the organisation, use their own personal experiences of mental health challenges to provide practical and social support to one another.

All coaching creates a ‘hands-on’ learning experience. Delivered in-person or virtually, our coaching uses a mixture of interactive learning methods delivered by peer support experts.

All of our sessions are scalable to ensure that everyone, whether in a group of 3 or 30, becomes a highly effective peer supporter.

Completely tailored to your company’s needs and with options for certification, training is usually 8 hours long and is highly adaptable to the context of your environment and working culture.
